Oh it’s grand to use words like Deception and Pretense for Neptune and Manipulation and Control for Pluto but do their aspects give you sufficient, complete and accurate detail? Actor #12238. A performer, impersonates, imposter, not real. 00 Leo
Jacobson #5636. Con man, cheats or fools by gaining trust, a hustler. 26 Cancer, Rx
Lie #26955. Untruth. Dishonesty. 02 Cancer, Rx.
MacGregor #20874. Scam artist, con man, gains trust and then deceives. 00 Capricorn.
Sly #57509. Deceitful, crafty, conniving. 15 Virgo, Rx.
Swindle #8690. Deception to deprive, fraud. Can also indicate Dizziness. 09 Scorpio.
Thompson #25166. Another factor to use for a con man, a person who gains trust to persuade someone to believe things that are not true and then to take advantage of that. 07 Aries.
Wiles #9999. Strategy/ability to fool, defraud or use cleverness or deception to deprive. 19 Aries.
As you use and test these factors, it is—as always— important for them, if relevant, to occur in close aspect to a Personal Point: a luminary, an angle or The Aries Point...or The Dial Axis of those points. An example of the Dial Axis of the Aries Point: factors @ 00 Cardinal, those @ 15 Fixed, and the quadratures (a quarter of the Dial or around 22:30 degrees on each side of the primary axis) @ 22 Cardinal and 07 Mutable.
You’ll find dramatic examples such as: Actor sq. Thompson: the man is very able to pretend things in order to scam others. Sly square Jacobson: there is a cleverness designed to con others. Hades opp. Lie: mistakes and corruption and issues from the past are blocked by lies. Actor with Wiles in that axis: there is a kind of “performance” or “role” playing that is a strategy to fool others. Lie opposite Poseidon: what is offered or stated as beliefs is likely not fully accurate. There can be untruths presented in the media. MC opposed by Jacobson: the con man/hustler behaviors are in service of the career and reputation. While Lie conjunct Moon can be dishonesty to the Mother, likely there isn’t truthful presentation of the emotions and history. Of course things like Swindle and Wiles and the con man asteroids aspecting Venus and Pluto especially imperil finances.
