More and more, you hear people saying some version of "The world has gone
crazy." The other day in the grocery store check-out line, a woman in front
of me said to the clerk, "I just feel I can't trust anything anymore.
Everything seems hyped and made-up." Was she right?

Consider this:
Not only is Pluto, in 20 Capricorn, gathering additional strength and
importance by standing in an eclipse degree, but:
The Pluto/Poseidon midpoint = 16 Sag 26
Neptune is in 16 Pisces 29, Rx
Uranus is in 01 Taurus 43
And the Uranus/Vulcanus midpoint is in 15 Gemini 51

Taking the Pluto/Poseidon as things like: the power of the media, how well
(Poseidon) morality and conscience hold up against the (Pluto) desire for
power, money, revenge and the ability to manipulate and the use of
(Poseidon) ideas to try to (Pluto) dominate and "mess with" people, and you
begin to have a sense of the drama. You have the media using their power to
constantly "Pluto" people by exposing their weaknesses. (It isn't pretty,
is it?)

But then extend your delineation:
Pluto/Poseidon = Neptune: Neptune tells us that there is dishonesty and a
willingness to ignore facts.
Pluto/Poseidon = Uranus: By being in the Pluto/Poseidon axis, Uranus
suggests that any of the things we attribute to the Pluto/Poseidon energy
mix can be intended to excite, can focus on the unexpected, can hope to
promote social change. Is there even a realized intention to foment
revolution?
Certainly with the Uranus/Vulcanus midpoint also applying to the axis, the
Vulcanus is adding pressure and trying to compel (force and influence)
Change.

Even the headlines on what are supposed to be news stories actually hold and
promote an opinion. The constant "upset" is what attracts viewers and
readers and the better those numbers are, the more you can (Pluto) charge
your advertisers.

And we know that having Cupido at the Aries Point is further testing and
tearing at Harmony among people.

Doesn't it all sound like the Chinese curse: May you live in interesting
times?
