I thought it would be interesting to take a look at some of the slow-moving,
planet-TNP midpoints per the middle of May. As well as checking out the
direct hits (to your radix or directed chart,) consider the squares and, if
you're a dial person, use the dial axis of the midpoint (ie., if you have
radix or directed factors in the axis of the midpoint, blend those natal or
directed points into how the midpoint energies are hitting you.) I'll list
these in "dial" order; that means that they'll be in Cardinal, Fixed and
Mutable order, by degree (as they would appear on a 90* dial. You'll catch
on to it~!) Of course, more could be said about each of these, but,
hopefully, just seeing the degree hit will prompt further investigation.

CARDINAL
05:15 05 CP Pluto/Cupido: There can be troublesome financial dealings with
the family or regarding real estate; family roles can switch (so that new
people are in power-- and this can occur in marital relationships too.)
There can be issues with mortgages or real estate taxes. It's a great time
for family therapy and for understanding more about the psychodynamic of a family or family member.
05:48 05 CA Hades/Kronos: It can be natural to be disappointed in
experts, government officials or the police. Given the Hades, you can see
these same folks make mistakes, try to hide things, or have past actions
come to light. Review your tax return to make sure you haven't made an
error, and watch for how attention to detail can aid a person's reputation
or rise in rank. You'll see some Criminal Kingpins and be more aware of criminal legal trials or cases.
06:46 06 CA Jupiter/Admetus: Sure enuf! Sometimes good things DO come to
those who wait! You may also see benefit for those who limit exposure,
who keep to themselves, or who are willing to "do their homework" and pay
attention to timing clues.
09:22. 09 AR (Means that the midpoint occurs at the 9th degree, 22 minutes
in the Cardinal area of the dial because the midpoint falls in 09 Aries 22
minutes.) Pluto/Hades: Dramatic things are occurring, but they ain't
necessarily good! There can be mistakes with financing or investments.
Errors or problems can be pushing you to your limits-- and that includes
your emotional or psychological limits. You can observe how, in an effort
to gain power or position, a person can bring up the past, attempt to shame,
or, in some way, denigrate another.
11:36 11 LI Cupido/Vulcanus: There are things we have to do because of
family or relationship-- and now is another one of those times when we are
reminded of that fact!
15:43 15 CA Hades/Vulcanus: I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but into
every life some rain (mess or difficulty) must fall-- and if this degree and
its axis is prominent in your chart, your time is NOW! Vulcanus says, "You
have to"-- and Hades says "Deal with mess, unpleasantness, mistakes, or
embarassing situations." This combination of energies is a reminder that
"It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it!"
17:26 17 CA Uranus/Zeus: A nice reminder that tension can literally cause
inflammation. RELAX! There can be sudden, unexpected or strange military
actions. You know that Uranus wants to produce the Unexpected. Well, then
add Zeus things such as: fire, explosions and gun shots. Now think of
Uranus as Changes...and know that Zeus can bring that in the pulse or blood
pressure. (So, obviously, if this midpoint is salient in your chart, you
need to relax, calm down, and cool it.)
19:09 19 AR Neptune/Admetus: Even at moments of weakness or fragility,
sometimes you just have to Endure (and "tough it out.") While there can be
times to Be Still in the presence of the mystical, also expect to see
instances when you or others have to block things or people out so as not to
be "taken in." There can also be times to use Admetus to "turn a cold eye"
(or heart) to attempts to take advantage of your susceptibility or
compassion.
20:02 20 LI Jupiter/Cupido: While for some, this will be a family reunion
or celebration, others will be aware of "good times" or protection and
happiness in connection with a partner or family. There can be events
related to a family member "at a distance;" there can be interaction with an
in-law or grandparent, but we are looking here for some sponsership or
context from or about a family member or partner.
20:49 20 CP Saturn/Neptune: While this combination of energies is
infamous for its connection to illness (and what does it point to in your
chart these days?) also think of it as a reminder to take practical steps to
fulfill your dreams. (What that you GROANING? Okay, I admit it, my
Pollyanna wrote that previous sentence!!!) There is a "straddle" here
between the Practical World of Saturn (with its damned hardships and
consequences) and the Other World of Neptune. It's time to stay grounded--
but still aware of The Worlds Beyond.
21:40 21 LI Pluto/Vulcanus: Sometimes I think of Pluto as "The gods have
decreed"...and then, when I add the "you Have To" of Vulcanus, I get the
sense that, if this midpoint is big in your chart (and to what factor?) this
is a period of time when: the gods have decreed that you HAVE TO... deal
with people, situations or circumstances associated with radix and directed
factors in 21 Libra and its axis.
24:09 24 CA Jupiter/Hades: This is a great time to laugh at your mistakes
and problems. Even when (Hades) things look grim, count on your (Jupiter)
sense of humor, ability to put things in persepective and rise above the
tough things. I know it's a cliche but this midpoint does suggest that When
Life Hands you Lemons, Make Lemonade! You can also prosper by using
precedent, attention to detail, and a good honest look at the Past.
FIXED
36:32 06 TA Neptune/Hades: People can be "taken in" or vulnerable by "bad
influences." This is like feeling compassion for criminals, people of a
lower socioeconomic class, the poor or the disenfranchised. Also note that,
when a person is (Neptune) sick, feeling overwhelmed, or susceptible,
(Hades) "bad" people or things can walk right in and set up shop! Too, you
want to pay attention that you aren't making (Hades) mistakes because you're
(Neptune:) off in a dream world, too disorganized, not paying attention, and
too given to personal chaos.
38:41 08 TA Uranus/Admetus: On one level, this is a great "earthquake"
combination. Admetus is "the earth" and Uranus adds the idea of "shaking."
Also see it as (Admetus:) trying to stay steady and "hunker down"-- and then
Uranus comes along and upsets the applecart! Other things that can occur"
you are aware of "a small circle of friends;" times of avoiding or shunning
a compatriot; and periods of sustained tension.
38:55 08 TA Neptune/Kronos: It's easy to become disillusioned with
government officials, bosses or police personnel. Those same folks-- along
with fathers or heads of household-- can be Neptune now: deceptive, ill,
unrealistic, too idealistic, or a tad on the "slippery" side! While we
often focus on Kronos as "officials" or legal cases, remember that it can
stand for The Father (or the Mother, if she is the in-charge person in the
house.) See Kronos as "experts" and as famous or infamous people. If this
midpoint degree hits stuff in your chart, do you (Neptune:) Trust officials?
Do you think experts are honest? Do you hear of fathers who are ill?
42:29 12 AQ Neptune/Pluto: Changes can occur now-- but you won't be fully
aware of what they mean until sometime in the future. Expect examples where
people are deceptive in their reach for power and in their attempt to "mess"
with you. So people can be dishonest...about finances... or as a way to
test your integrity and values.
44:13 14 LE Apollon/Admetus: When you're in too deep with too much goin'
on, it's time to "limit" demands or input or slow down the pace. You may
notice that when too much is happening, you or others kind of "shut down."
48:50 18 TA Neptune/Vulcanus: Vulcanus hands us the real or imagined
sense of "have to"-- you "have to" do this or that. So when it's paired
with Neptune, you can feel weak, crappy, undecided or like you're rather
cringe under a rock (and out here, that means there's liable to be a
rattlesnake there!) but there are still things you HAVE TO DO. (I know; it
sucks; your complaint has been duly noted!) At other times, you will be
aware of "the power of subtle influences"-- be it the wind, an odor, a
gesture-- whatever!
49: 56 19 LE Admetus/Poseidon: Expect some contact with those of limited
education or intellect. You may have dealings with folks who would elicit
my worst comment: They're damned proud of all four things they know! A
lovely manifestation of this combination of energies is that the Admetus can
put you in a remote or "earthy" place-- and the Poseidon showers in a sense
of the mystical! So you may notice a spiritual sense about rocks, stones,
or remote places. You may also find that this is a period when your beliefs
deepen.
54:48 24 LE Hades/Zeus: While there can be mistakes, gross or disgusting
things associated with fire, weapons or military actions, also expect times
when there are difficulties as a result of inflammation. There can be low
blood pressure too. But you know Zeus; he wants to DRIVE! When you stick
Hades next to him, ambition can suffer. A person can be fine with "doing
not much of anything."
56:04 26 TA Uranus/Hades: Be afraid; be very afraid! This midpoint can
cause computer viruses or other problems (or, even, crimes) with technology.
It can also produce situations where things "go to hell in a New York
minute!" That means, among other things, that Uranus stands for the
Unexpected or Suddeness...and then Hades brings on the problem, illness,
mistake or reminder of the past. So yeah, there's room here for you to hear
some things about a person's Past... and those things seem (Uranus:) totally
out of character! This combination of energies can also show up as a friend
of yours dealing with very difficult circumstances (if not illness.)
57:16 27 TA Jupiter/Neptune: Castles on the sand! Illusions of Grandeur!
To pretend to be rich, superior or erudite. The Gambler!
57:28 27 SC Cupido/Apollon: Events now can make you aware of home
businesses or factions within a family. You can think about people who have
more than one home or businesses that are based on the home or real estate.
(So, yeah, go to Home Depot or call a real estate agent!)
58:56 28 TA Uranus/Kronos: Aware of a friend's opinion; a change in rules
or protocols; to recognize a friend's expertise; to see a surprising outcome
to a legal case; contact with an expert in computers or technology; upsets
in connection with the police or government.
MUTABLE
67:19 07 VI Hades/Poseidon: These energies can bring you contact with a
person with little education or education in the Classics. You can see
Crime done in the Name of Religion. You can hear of ancient religions,
occult practices or Wiccan traditions. Under these energies, do research
and be open to the wisdom of the Ancient Ones. You may hear of criminal
activity in connection with religions or schools.
68:21 08 GE Uranus/Vulcanus: For some people, their driving force is the
fact that they carry a lot of tension and/or need to frequently prove that
they're "unique" and only march to the drummer they hear. If this midpoint
is whacking into your chart, you may also be contending with situations that
seem intended to MAKE you CHANGE. The Uranus says that "something's
different," and the Vulcanus adds power and intention, so that you see that
there's some impetus to try the untried!
77:43 17 VI Saturn/Hades: While you may lack ambition or see too many
mistakes at work, you can also have bone and tooth problems or
deterioration. You can see events where a person is pressed to "take
responsibility for their mistakes" but there can also be moments when you
are disgusted with your career or profession.
80:05 20 VI Saturn/Kronos: Conventional wisdom with this midpoint is that
you'll be aware of an older father, expert, official or famous person. You
may also see that such persons are dealing with more than their share of
(Saturn) problems, limitations, and consequences. Something in this time
period may cause you to realize how hard people have worked in order to
attain the status of "expert." We think of Kronos as "having an opinion;"
well, does Age grant Wisdom?
83:39 23 SAG Saturn/Pluto: Drat! Sometimes "hard things happen to older
people"! And that also means that some problems can be final or
irrevocable. You also think of Saturn as Difficulties... and then Pluto
says these difficulties push a person to their limits and feel Fated or
Inescapable!
88:20 28 GE Admetus/Vulcanus: Yep! There are things you HAVE TO endure;
there are things that cause you to "steel yourself, make a fist, and set
your jaw"-- because they ARE coming to you.
89:10 29 PI Uranus/Neptune: While you could experience shifts in the
state of consciousness or have periods when you suddenly feel weak or
fragile, there can be times when your rational mind is playing footsie with
your intuitive mind-- and you "know" things or feel "transported" into a
strange level of awareness. Too, friends can be ill; you can have times of
being disappointed in friends; and there may be stretches when you feel too
weak or impressionable to make or adapt to changes. If this midpoint is big
in your chart, do not drop your cell phone into the bath tub!
Okay! There are, of course, lots of other midpoints, but I thought it would
be kind of "fun' to have these to fool around with as they impact your
chart.
