These days--mid-August 2020, you could have a really long, complicated
transiting line-up angular on your solar or lunar returns. And that is
frequently true when you incorporate TNPs and asteroids in your
delineations. It can seem overwhelming until you take a deep breath and
think of each of them as "a person" who wants to have their input, their say
and their influence in the "event conversation and production."
Right now, for instance, at one angle (in early to mid Cancer,) you could
have Phaethon, Hera, Eros, Hopi, Venus, Hades, Melpomene, Atropos,
Proserpina, Libitina and Kronos!!! Here are some (and only some) of the
manifestations of that:
1. Phaethon-Hera: Notice of others falling; car issues for a partner or
others; costs associated with vehicles; seeing that others "get more than
they bargained for," and recognized that another/others have taken on "more
than they can chew" (or manage.)
2. Hera-Eros: Issues re the cardiac, sexuality or reproductive systems and
drives of others.
3. Phaethon-Eros: Yep! "Sexy" cars are here (as is sex IN cars!) but so are
racing hearts or cardiac incidents while driving.
4. Hera-Hopi: Hera can champion Human Rights and Equality and Hopi
introduces concern about prejudice, racism, border protection and
hand-to-hand attacks. You might see inter-racial relationships and much
focus on the potential racism of others.
5. Of course the Phaethon-Venus brings beautiful cars to your attention, but
it can also cause $$$ issues associated with vehicles.
6. And the Venus-Hera focuses on issues of love and equality between others
and within a relationship.
7. Add Hades and... a Phaethon-Hades is an old or classic car but it can be
car problems and deterioration of a car (and what does that mean to
its--Venus--value, and how does a (Hera-partner) feel about that?
8. A Hera-Hades can indicate a relationship that's going downhill or a
partner that's dealing with difficulty or disease.
9. Similarly, take Hades to Eros and there can be "lousy sex" (the gods
forbid!) or disease affecting the heart, hormones or reproductive organs.
Think too of Hades as depression and it's influence on the Eros "passion for
life."
10. The Hopi-Hades will carry reminders of how the poverty of Hades affects
many in the minority population. There can also be examples of (Hades)
mistaken (Hopi) racism as well as (Hades) criminal actions associated with
claims of (Hopi) racism.
11. The asteroid, Melpomene, indicates examples of tragedy. Add that to the
cars or falls of Phaethon and the partners and costs of Hera. Tragic events
can also result from (Eros) cardiac and sexual events--especially where
there is (Hades) disease or crime. You can also hear of those who are
dealing with a (Venus) financial crisis. Melpomene's catastrophic aura can
also be part of (Hopi) racist events and (Hades) criminal activity. There
can be elements of Melpomene's "Tragedy" in (Hera) relationships and
incidents that involve sex. (There are squares to this from transiting
Ceres and Demeter, so we could hear reports of the sex trafficking of
children or of incidents of pedophilia.)
12. Proserpina is part of this alignment; so there can be (Hades) crimes,
proverty, depression and other difficulties for (Proserpina) children apart
from their families, but also for anyone who has the sense that they
(Proserpina) don't "fit," don't really Belong (...anywhere.)
13. When we allow Hera to speak to Proserpina, we have people saying that
they don't have the sense of really "fitting: with their partner. We might
have examples of people who (Atropos) end their (Hera) relationships... and
with Hades in the picture, it's likely not pretty! But that can hold true
for other (Atropos) Endings; given the presence of Venus and Hades, there
can be the sensation of "Love has Ended--and Badly!" or that there are
financial issues that are causing thiugs to go downhill (and require some
completion.)
14. Libitina is part of this long track and it can cause people to have
"dire expectations." So...take any of the points and the combinations and
know that Libitina is gonna' add the sense of "This really sucks and will
not turn out well." For instance: Phaethon-Hades-Libitina suggests that a
car has a problem or is getting old and... it's not gonna' turn out well.
Same with Hera-Hades-Libitina: there are relationship problems and...there's
no fixing them. And what about Eros-Hades-Libitina? Now we have some
difficult cardiac symptoms and Libitina says, "Uh-ho, this isn't good!" The
Venus-Libitina can produce certainty about finances (or kidneys!) having
troublesome expecations. The Hopi-Libitina likewise produces the sense that
there will be troublesome consequences associated with issues associated
with border control, prejudice & racism and the prospect of personal
protection. As you would imagine, the Melpomene with Libitina sketches an
image where there is (Melpomene) tragic potential--and Libitina is sure of
it!
15. Note that Libitina can also bring "unpleasant responsibilities" to
points in this alignment. So... that can include (Hera) partners, (Phaethon)
car issues, (Venus) financial concerns, the way that (Hopi) racism causes
people to feel that they (Proserpina) don't "fit" are aren't "part of
things," and any number of (Hades) problems or indications of deterioration.
Libitina can represent death, corpses and funerals. Okay, what does that
mean in terms of (Hera) partners, or (Eros) heart issues, (Hopi) minorities,
(Venus) financial concerns, (Hades) criminal actions, (Kronos) fathers,
famous people or government officials, or (Proserpina) young people away
from home? Libitina is also prominent when there are funerals or attention
to deaths.
16. Kronos is also part of this pattern and it can stand for opinions,
police, government officials, celebrities, legal issues and high places. And
wow... do we see instances that link Hopi and Kronos (racial issues with
police)? Are we seeing (Hades) criminal actions that challenge the (Kronos)
police and have some (Kronos) police (Atropos) ending their careers? Are
there images of (Kronos) police (Phaethon) cars? Are there (Hopi-Kronos)
black celebrities in the news? Do you hear more about (Hopi-Libitina) black
deaths and funerals? Is some notice given to the (Hera) partners or
(Hera-Hades) relationship history of (Kronos) celebrities or government
officials?
As always, you can discover more in this line-up...and then you need to
incorporate points in parans opposition (and some of those would be
transiting Cupido, the asteroid, Zeus, and Pallas--with all three
retrograde--don't forget to list your radix points that would be aspected.)
So what do (Cupido) family, social cohesion, property, real estate, (Zeus)
volatility, guns, anger and (Pallas, Rx) refusal to do the things that would
get approval and please others--have to do with all we said above? Take
each of them to the points listed above and expect (if these points are
angular and important in your chart now) the kinds of interactions and
conversations they would have. There is social tragedy, death in a family
and sooo much more.
As well as being fascinating, requiring intense notice and analysis, some of
this is supposed to be the odd kind of "fun" that astrologers have. Yes? Can you apply this method to what’s angular in your chart now? Do you see how your chart tracks your thoughts and input as well as the events that make an impact? Cool, huh?
