Some of the current patterns that could be showing up in your chart now:
* As Jupiter and Neptune stall in close opposition, expect to be aware of
people who (Neptune) "aren't true" about their (Jupiter) superiority. They
may (Neptune) pretend to be (Jupiter, Rx) better than they are. Some of
their (Jupiter) castle is really (Neptune) built upon the sand (and the tide
WILL come in!) So you may notice hypocrisy or instances where a person's
(Jupiter, Rx) "principles" are a tad on the (Neptune) fantasy or slippery
side! This is a time to notice who seems to have (Neptune) illusions of
(Jupiter) grandeur and who is (Neptune) pretending to have (Jupiter)
principles... and awareness of foreign policy!
* While Psyche is opposing Cupido, it's a great time to really focus on the
emotional and psychological glitches installed and imprinted by the family
experience. In a way, this is about seeing certain emotional issues as
nearly genetic. It's a time to recognize that you--like every other human
being in the world--did not have a perfect childhood. And it's time to
understand that some of that "core pain" (from your early life) really was
"installed" so that it still and forever causes you to react. This aspect
can also cause you to recognize the emotional "issues" that a partner is
dealing with-- and to realize that family problems (even from early
childhood) can very much affect the ability to form close and effective
relationships.
* As Vesta conjoins Mercury, expect to register how it is when people talk
without being emotionally connected to their words. It's cool to use
Mercury to think (Vesta) without being swayed by emotions... but it can be a
bit unnerving to talk to someone when you can see that no emotion is
coloring their thinking.
* Around April 18th, you will find that the medical asteroid, Podalarius,
and Pythia are both retrograde and conjunct in 11 Sag. Any of the medical
asteroids can stand for medical conditions, health challenges, diagnoses and
doctors. Here, you're adding the "It's not certain how this will turn out"
of Pythia. That means that diagnoses can be wrong or that the future or
unfolding of a diagnosis really can't be known at the moment. The course of
a medical condition can be other than what is expected.
* The TNP Zeus, in 17 Libra, continues to form a troublesome (parans)
opposition to Uranus. Think of Zeus--in some manifestations--as an energy
with its finger stuck in an electric socket; it's anxious and volatile. Now
connect it to Uranus! Good gracious~! You can have (Uranus) sudden (Zeus)
outbursts of anger. You can have so much (Uranus) tension that you are
dealing with a lot of (Zeus) anxiety. You can be dealing with (Uranus) new
things or technology in a way that (Zeus) makes you either creative or
angry! Remember that the tension and girding against the unexpected can
cause you to internalize things so that your dear little body is contending
with a lot of (Zeus) inflammation. Exhale! Relax! Easy does it!
* Pluto and Niobe are in mid-Capricorn and they're gonna' hang out together
for a while this Spring. At times, this conjunction will show up as (Niobe)
sorrow through children as they (Pluto) go through very difficult
experiences that expose their core psychological truths. At other times,
you will see that the (Niobe) sorrow through children comes as they are
caught up in the "fine print" (and hardships) of their "soul contract"-- and
there is nothing you can do to change that. If this conjunction is strong
in your chart, you may also have instances of seeing that, when (Niobe)
faced with wounds to the pride, some people become very (Pluto) vindictive
and seek revenge on whomever caused that blow to the ego.
* For a time, the asteroid, Kalypso, will conjoin Pluto. Think about that!
Kalypso can hide things; it can "conceal" (stuff in its aspect pattern.) So
now you have attempts to (Kalypso) conceal the motives of Pluto. Someone
can hide (Pluto) what's really true for them. Someone can mask their
(Pluto) attempt to manipulate or dominate others. Their "true selves" can
be hidden; stuff about their (Pluto) investments or debts can, likewise, be
hidden. Their bottom line integrity can, likewise, not be available or
obvious.
* Maybe the Urania-Vulcanus conjunction in late Cancer is starring on one of
your Lunar Returns now. Hurrah! In one manifestation, it's about "the
power of astrology." At other times, it tests the ability to stay truly
rational under pressure. It's about whether, even when the stakes are high,
you can "think on your feet" and impress others with your intelligence (and
grasp of Astrology~!)
* While the TNP, Poseidon, in 12 Scorpio (mid-April) is contending with the
oppositions of Sphinx and Persephone, some will face the questions of Sphinx
regarding (Poseidon) what they believe, how smart they are, or regarding
their religion. When you consider the Poseidon\Persephone, you realize
that, even back in (Poseidon) school, some people felt (Persephone) that
they just "didn't belong;" they didn't "Fit." Since you're reading
this--and, are, ergo, an Astrologer, you may find that your (Poseidon)
beliefs mean that you're "not like most others." You're a "weird duck"
because of your sense of the universe and your ideas and cosmology.
* The close conjunction of Kronos and Daedalus now is a kind of invitation
to recognize that celebrities, fathers and government officials really do
"get away with it." They aren't truly held responsible; they pass the
consequences of their actions on to others.
* With Amor conjunct Atlantis in late Aries as we go into mid-April, you can
see-- if this conjunction is important in your chart--that a person needs to
have boundaries (and limitations) to prevent others from laying waste to
their privacy... and to keep from having very negative expectations about
the future. Some folks with this degree important in their chart, will
think of (Amor) love and the seeking/granting of "Acceptance" as (Atlantis)
"karmic;" others will see that their search for (love and acceptance) can
have been limited by (Atlantis) their own negative projections and
expectations. Too, does the search for Love mean that one releases the
boundaries of Privacy?
* Mid-April means that the retrograde Mars is opposing Hera; how many people
are dealing with passive aggression in partners and others? How much
indirect anger is surfacing in relationships?
* With Neptune in 11 Pisces, the asteroid, Poseidon, in 10 Pisces and the
asteroid Kron (like the TNP, Kronos) in 13 Pisces, are you seeing (Neptune)
disappointment in (Kron) officials or celebrities? Has there been (Neptune)
deception among government officials or other authorities? Are you aware of
(Neptune) illness or untrustworthyness among (Kron) fathers, heads of
households, authority figures or leaders? Are you more aware of the
(Poseidon) beliefs or Truths of (Kron) folks who claim expertise or
competence?
* The TNP, Hades, is in 04 Cancer; the asteroid, Lachesis, is--mid-April--
in 03 Capricorn; as you try to learn how these energies manifest, how have
you seen examples where a trajectory has changed (1) for the worse or (2)
due to a mistake or (3) a fact from the past --who is showing that to you?
If you receive the newsletter from the site (the last titled, "Oh ho, My
bad!") you have more examples and tests of your grasp of how asteroids (in
contact with planets, luminaries and angles) manifest. The "test" is of
your recognition of the new "language" of asteroids. Instead of the rather
Neptunian "romancing the stone" terms where there is vague reference to
actual events and emotions, the asteroids present things in the kinds of
words clients actually use to talk about the events in their life. Is this
too graphic and too direct for you? Just yesterday, I saw a chart where the
asteroid, Burns, was covered by the asteroids, Morden and Phaethon, in a
chart. It was the chart of someone who died in a car accident where the car
burst into flames! This is too graphic for some astrologers. How about
