That horrific explosion in the port city of Tianjin in China occurred,
according to the BBC, at 23:30 Local Time. Several other media outlets
reported a time of 23:36, so when I ran the chart, I used the 11:36 pm time
for Tianjin, 39 N 08 and 117 E 12. That produces a MC of 09 Aq 32 and an
ASC of 01 Gemini 48.
When you hear the word, "explosion," you immediately think of Zeus and in
this chart, the TNP Zeus = the Ascendant.
The asteroid, Zeus, is retrograde in 05 Aries 08...and Hades is in 05 Cancer
09!!!!!!!!!! So there is some mistake or something "bad" as part of the
fireball. In 19 Leo 37, the Sun was moving into the aspect with Hades and
triggering the 04 Cardinal eclipse this Fall!
Consider too that the Uranus/Pluto midpoint is 01 Virgo 54-- meaning that
the ASC here was moving into it by six minutes of arc. But that also means
that the TNP Zeus is also applying so we will be seeing more Uranus/Pluto =
Zeus events (as mentioned on page 6 of the August issue of Tools of the
Trade.)
If you look at the chart, you will see that the MC is applying to square the
asteroid, Melpomene, in 09 Sc 40. We interpret Melpomene as a catastrope or
disaster. With the asteroid, House, in 09 Taurus 42, the chart "tells you"
that this catastrophe would involve buildings or be particular to a
location.
The Aries Point was the Mars/Saturn, Jupiter/Apollon (big event, affecting
many would be one delineation of the Jupiter/Apollon; the devastation spread
over a large distance would be another,) and the Uranus/Neptune (implying a
likely problem with gasses) midpoints.
There was a big explosion in Iraq too... and lots of shootings. You might
interpret the Uranus/Pluto = Zeus as "A major overhaul in technology due to
creativity or that causes a lot of excitement." You could well imagine "A sudden eruption of psychological scars results in an angry outburst." What other delineations can
you see?
