Pictured is a possible set of parans oppositions that can occur now (and for
a bit into February.)  As they occur "on angles" of a return chart, we
refer to them as "parans oppositions," with the word, parans, indicating
"apparent." For instance, the asteroid, Odysseus, in 26 Scorpio by February
5th, has already passed its actual opposition (180*) to the asteroid,
Proserpina, in 24 Taurus. But because of their proximity to angles, we know
that their tension will manifest in events. And that holds true for all the
"apparent" oppositions across these angles even if the actual opposition never occurs.

.
To make this easier for students new to asteroids, let me tell you what's on
each side here. On the Ascendant side, you see (top to bottom) Virchow,
Morden, Proserpina, Hephaistos, Rx and the TNP, Admetus, Rx. On the
Descendant side, you see (top to bottom) Demeter, Valentine, Odysseus,
Apollonia, Pythia, Apollo, and the medical asteroid, Askalaphus.
As you've seen, angular factors can express individually; they can team up
with one or more other factors; and they can create back and forth
conversations. So let's start simply here and gather some ideas (more
applicable to you if these energies are angular for you now):

.
1. Virchow-Morden: Do you hear of someone who dies of a stroke or has a
life-threatening (pathology) disease?
2. Morden-Proserpina: Do you hear of the deaths of children or others who
are "away from home" or without someone to protect them?
3. Is there a reference to (Hephaistos) unlikely or mismatched
relationships? Do you hear of people with shoulder injuries or notice
someone limping?
4. Hephaistos-Admetus: Does someone mention stiffness, numbness or muscle
cramps in their shoulder or lower leg?
5. Does someone indicate that their partner is (Hephaistos) not a good
match, but they continue to (Admetus) endure in the relationship?
6. Do you hear of someone who had a stroke...but either as a symptom or
result experienced that stiffness or lack of feeling (Admetus) in a limb
(Hephaistos)?
7. At some point in the coming few weeks, do you hear of a person who had
(Admetus) much to endure as part of their (Morden) death?

Going over to the DSC:
8. Askalaphus-Apollo: Do you notice someone doesn't take their health into
account, they naively keep doing things that "tempt the Fates" when it come
to their medical status?
9. The presence of Pythia makes it very difficult to understand the future
implications of something (and this includes the medical matters of
Askalaphus.)
10. Pythia-Apollonia: It can be especially difficult to project outcomes
when there are "so many" (people, things, etc.) There can also be obstacles
or mistakes seeing what will happen with (Apollonia) business, commerce or
when things or people "spread out."
11. Odysseus brings up the idea of "people away from home:" immigrants,
migrants, travelers and/or tourists. So: there can be concern about medical
care of migrants; there can be medical issues that require travel; there can
be worries about health issues when people travel. (So for example, there
is the current concern about the Zika virus if people travel to certain
countries or areas of the United States.) The Pythia-Odysseus is showing up
as so many countries not really understanding the ramifications or
consequences of accepting (Apollonia) so many (Odysseus) immigrants.
12. The presence of Valentine indicates that words such as: sex, the heart,
or the reproductive system have to be worked into the delineations. You see
Admetus\Valentine and you think of how "blockages" can affect the cardiac
system. You see Valentine\Virchow, and you expect to hear mentions of
strokes or pathology reports re the heart or organs of reproduction. (You
could extend this delineation by including factors at the other two angles.)
13. Think now about Apollonia-Odysseus. You get phrases such as "many or
spreading out of migrants." Maybe you think of "travel businesses." Right!
Business or commerce are perfectly good concepts for the TNP, Apollon, and
the asteroid, Apollonia. You might also use the word, "many" or the
phrase, "more than one." What happens when you try to delineate:
Apollonia-Odysseus-Valentine-Demeter? Just start with key words: commerce
or business...migrants...sex...children. See it too as
Apollonia-Odysseus-Valentine\Proserpina. Commerce-migrants-sex\people
without protection.

.
For both the migrants in Europe and people crossing the southern borders of
the United States, this is now a serious and tragic reality. When you see
Apollonia (or Apollon or Kaufer) with one of the "sex" asteroids, there is
the concern about "sex trafficking"-- about sex as a business. News stories
today indicate that more than 10,000 migrant children in Europe have been
lost to sex traffickers. (So tragic!)
14. Yes, with the Odysseus\Morden, some migrants will lose their lives.
You may hear of people who (Demeter as food\Morden) starve to death.
-------------
This was a dire example, but I hope it showcased that "angular" factors will
manifest in a variety of ways as they pick up adjectives and themes from
other angulars-- including those in "parans opposition." It was supposed to
be a reminder that stories in films, on television or in the news can show
up on your angles.

How are you progressing with testing these methods in
YOUR chart?
