I am writing these notes as a study and check guide for myself, but I
thought some of the ideas might be useful for others.

1. Cancer can be active as much as 2 or more years prior to diagnosis so,
once it's dxed, you can (and will) have separating aspects. Ie., between the
personal points (luminaries, angles & Aries Point, radix and solar arc
directed,) there can be a cancer and/or a specific cancer factors two
degrees beyond. For instance, the directed ASC is one and a half degrees
beyond Frisch (a factor for anal cancer,) with the directed Sun almost 2 *
beyond a different factor for anal cancer. This indicates the cancer
reaching an active stage 18 months to a year or more prior to diagnosis.

2. Similarly, with some cancers, there are metastases (spread) that occur
sometime after diagnosis, so there are then aspects of the metastases
asteroids such as Wells, Locke, Morgan and Virchow, that can apply OR be
separating from the cancer points and personal points. Sometimes a
metastasis factor is in close--but separating aspect to a cancer factor.
This will be seen in aspect to a personal point (as described above) be it
radix or solar arc. Note that the transneptunian, Hades, can indicate
disease, lower intestines and deterioration so aspectual interaction with
cancer and medical asteroids is noteworthy.

Metastases will reach another organ or system such as the liver, lymph
nodes, or lungs. In such a case, you may seen a cancer factor to Neptune,
Node or a specific Lymphatic System factor to implicate spread to the Lymph
system. A cancer or metastases asteroid to Jupiter, Hypatia or other liver
factors indicates metastases to the liver. Something like solar arc Virchow
to radix Zeus shows metastases in the blood stream. In all likelihood, there
will be repeats in the chart. Other metastases asteroids will aspect
organs, cancer points or systems.

3. As disease takes hold, you will usually see one of the cancer factors in
the chart in aspect (and that includes in the axis) of another cancer
factor, radix and directed. Ie., radix King, Lynch or Strattonia to
directed Handley. This includes where you are able to use very specific
medical asteroids for a particular form of cancer.

4. Check at least the previous and following six months for eclipses, both
solar and lunar, and see their relevance to personal points (radix and
directed) and to cancer factors to determine emphasis on coping, life and
disease.

5. Some of the same indications hold true for cancers that are terminal
diagnoses. With a bi-dial, radix and solar arc directions, enter the death
indices: Mars/Saturn and "death" asteroids: Orpheus, Morden, Phoinix,
Nephthys, Osiris, Anubis and Libitina, both radix and directed (or progressed if
that's your preference.) Are they significant by aspect to personal points
and/or to each other? Is there emphasis via aspect to disease factors?

For example: in a chart I am referencing, the radix Anubis axis includes
radix Morden, Lynch, Nephthys and both directed and transit Nepththys on the
date the person passes. In the same chart, the transit Phoinix axis includes
directed Sun, ASC, Node and Neptune along with radix Phoinix, a radix cancer
point (for their exact form of cancer,) and the degree of the solar eclipse
closest prior to the diagnosis. Also a specific cancer point was, by
transit, to the directed Phoinix. Transit Morden was applying in
conjunction to radix Orpheus = a solar eclipse midway between diagnosis and
death. There were probably other connections and I will pursue those, but
the idea is that the chart all but shouts intent with these repeats.

In working with this level of detail, I encourage use of a 90* dial as it
will ease aspect and pattern recognition. (You can order such charts from
me.) I think it's necessary to have the full list of medical asteroids in
order to see how they are represented in the chart and this includes the
fact that there can be several asteroids for the same type of cancer: are
they affecting personal points? How are metastases points associated? Is the
chart saying that the cancer process is underway? How do the various
treatment asteroids (Panacea, Mittal, etc.) speak of outcome? Does Apollon
give a sense of the success of something like chemotherapy? You can find
asteroids for "Brain Fog" if your cancer client is dealing with Chemo. So
yes, in a way, this is an advertisement for the Research Access
subscription. At $12.00 a month (can be canceled at any time,) the ability
to search by a word (such as metastasis or different forms of blood or lung
cancers or whatever) is just remarkable. Of course, you have access then to
the huge Aspects and Crime sections also.

But beyond that, as I've written about before, the basis for a disease
diagnosis is in your chart, FROM BIRTH. What if we can identify it many
years before it manifests? We would also see contributing factors; we could
point to those. Is there any chance the gods would allow us to circumvent
development of the disease? We won't know unless a lot of us try.
