Perhaps you read of the August 5, 2023 death of actress Sandra Bullocks’ partner, Bryan Randall. His solar chart for his Portland, Oregon birth on April 10, 1966 is shown here. Click to enlarge.
Three years ago he was diagnosed with ALS: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig disease. The medical asteroids for this disease are Charcot in 16 Virgo and Gehrig in 20 Pisces. Take a second to see them in his chart. There’s a potent line up there with them. See that it goes to the solar Ascendant and is receiving the applying October 2023 lunar eclipse in 05 Taurus.
Also note that the ALS points include things like Eros for the heart and Bohr for lungs.
The aspect pattern of Gehrig includes the Sun with Lohmann in 20 and 21 Aries and then Neptune and Malpighi in 21-22 Scorpio. So the chart is speaking of issues with (Lohmann:) muscles and the Neptunian weakness in (Malpighi) lungs and respiration.
As you see, the other eclipse this Fall in 21 Libra is part of this Gehrig pattern.
That axis includes the memory asteroid, Mnemosyne conjunct the medical asteroid, Hippokrates, in 12 Aries, and about 1/3 of the people with ALS do experience cognitive and memory problems.
This is a disease that progressively affects the muscles. As well as seeing Toro in 05 Aries and Terpsichore in 28 Aries for muscles and movement, observe how Admetus and Admetos would cause the thickening, stiffness or, as Neptune says, the “weakening” of his musculature. Other factors for muscles: Needham in 14 Gemini 05, Englehardt In 17 Taurus 13 and Weber in 29 Taurus 58 (and note the square with Demeter for food! See also Ceres in 01 Taurus.)
You saw Eros in 18 Gemini with Charcot and Gehrig...yes, ALS can affect the heart rate and increases the risk for heart failure or sudden cardiac death.
This is a horrific disease that causes a progressive loss of the ability to move, to speak, to eat, and finally, to breathe.
There are many other patterns to see. This chart is another reminder of how incredible astrology can be...especially with asteroids!
