Many years ago, actress Gena Rowlands (June 19, 1930, 11:22 am, CST, Madison, Wisconsin) in the film, The Notebook, played the role of a woman with dementia. As always, the chart is remarkable. Here I have turned the working dial to her Sun in 27 Gemini 40.Look across the working dial to the opposite points @ 12 Fixed. You see Ha (Handley: serious problem, something harmful or destructive—can indicate cancer) conjunct Psyche (Brain) in 12 Taurus and the asteroid Malpighi in 13 Scorpio. Malpighi can stand for respiratory issues and blood states (like clots.) Also in the Sun’s axis is Mercury square Memoria (memory) in 05 Gemini-04 Virgo. So again you have a story about lungs, mind and memory. As you stare at this pattern, note the asteroid, Franke, Dementia, is in 20 Cancer It is conjunct Moseley which indicates a dementia with respiratory complications!
But Mars, in 12 Taurus, speaks of movement being affected. Now look at the 01 Aries Moon and note nearby factors but also axis points around 16 Fixed, 23 Cardinal and 08 Mutable. Note these on the chart: Okaski/dementia, 02 Cp; Mnemosyne/memory, 17 Scorpio; Jenner/Coronary artery disease(that often precedes dementia) 00 Aries; and Willis/Vascular Dementia that can affect movement (Mars) and muscles so see the cardinal quadrature in 22 Libra and Aries of Toro-muscles and Valentine-heart! Tomlinson is an asteroid that can also represent Vascular Dementia is in 24 Aries. So you have a story of Moon\Memoria = Toro x Valentine.

It’s not unusual for a person to have more than one type of dementia. This is termed Mixed Dementia. For example, Joe Biden has the asteroid Blok to his Sun. That’s a point for Alzheimer’s. Then the asteroid Richard, for Frontotemporal Dementia, opposes his 00 Taurus Moon from 00 Scorpio. This type of dementia can have a genetic basis and his aspects Cupido! You would also see in his chart (Nov. 20, 1942, 8:30 am, Scranton, Pa) that the asteroid, Memoria is in 18 Sag with his MC in 19 Virgo.) His Sun is in that axis.
