In light of the claims of media bias and involvement in the election and in attempts to shape opinion (rather than just report the news,) you may want to consider:
1. In the US (July 4, 1776) chart, radix Poseidon is in 15 Cancer (and with\radix Saturn square from 14 Libra, is that a comment on the struggle for "responsible media & journalism"?) which means that transiting Pluto has been opposing it. So now you have the idea of the role or temptation of "power" affecting the media. Having done some damage, Pluto may now be calling for (PO\PL) journalistic integrity.
2. Solar arc Directed Poseidon is in 14 Pisces 24 applying to the aspect with radix Hades in 00 Scorpio (with radix Arachne in 01 Taurus.)
3. The dial axis of radix Poseidon (covered of late by transiting Pluto) includes radix Ascendant square Neptune (= solar arc Uranus!). Fascinating!
4. Then the asteroid, Poseidon, natally in 28 Sag, has been dealing with the separating directed Hades now in 29 Gemini 32. This is of particular interest due to the radix Kronos in that axis at 21 Capricorn. We've talked before about ways that Kronos-Leaders can be Hades: low class, guilty of crimes, incompetent, etc.
5. You probably want to give some credit to the idea that directed Pluto in 26 Virgo has been aspecting transit Poseidon (while transit Pluto is opposing radix Poseidon.) It's these kinds of "repeats" or echoes that we see all the time that give that combination of energies extra importance. So you have to be thinking about things like "the motives of the media" and the ideas of the masses. You're on to considering how Values work with Beliefs. You're seeing something about using ideas to try to manipulate or dominate....
Of course there's so much else to be seen by viewing a bi- or tri-dial of the US chart with directions and, if you like, the chart for the election. Depending on your political affiliation, you will interpret the solar arc Hades aspect to radix Lilith (decision, selection) differently.
